Sorry for the ads guys! I have serious medical problems and showing these helps me pay for them.. Take a look at them if you want to support me and find them interesting. If you really hate them, feel free to use adblock, but it'll make me sad =(.

Do you like what you see? Donate to help me cover my medical expenses! There's a chance I won't survive without my medication and visits to the doctor and it's all stupidly expensive (American medical insurance covers almost none of it) - it currently eats about half my salary! If you donate today, you can help with that!

Okay, unpopular opinion time. I just got done The Creature From the Pit and I *LOVED* it. I thought it was hilarious, the characters were great, the plot was surprisingly good, and the ending was entirely ridiculous, but also didn’t take itself seriously so it ended up being the stronger for it. Most importantly though the script was so incredibly well written that the plot never felt like it dragged and every line was just dripping with raw comedy (also, the cliffhanger at the end of episode three is just utterly fantastic). The final line is just the icing on the cake. Admittedly, it’s no City of Death, but it’s also not trying to be. If you haven’t seen it, give it a watch. Don’t trust the reviewers, a lot of them complain that it isn’t ‘serious’ enough for their tastes - just don’t go into it expecting Genesis of the Daleks or The War Games and you’ll be okay.

(This doesn’t constitute an official review project review, just a recommendation for those who haven’t seen it) ^_^
